a yummy avocado smoothie


Happy Thursday, the weekend is almost here! Thought it'd be nice to share with you all my favorite smoothie recipe today. It's sweet, nutritious, and a very simple and easy breakfast to start your day with.



The main ingredient in this smoothie is avocado, which is my thickening agent thanks to its denseness and creaminess. I know bananas are usually used to thicken smoothies, but I developed this weird banana allergy a few years ago and have been steering clear of them ever since.


You'll need:

1 avocado
1/2 bag of Trader Joe's Frozen Mango Chunks
1 cup of Trader Joe's Matcha Almond Beverage
A squeeze of honey

And a handful of frozen blueberries to add as a pretty topping at the end. Yes, I am one of those Trader Joe's fanatics. Maybe I'll make a post about my favorite TJ's goodies sometime in the future!



Throw it all in and blend until supah silky smooth like above ~ also, that Ninja Blender is AMAZING. So powerful. Highly recommend.
